KEY VERSEIsaiah 51:7 (God to Israel)
Listen to me, you who know right from wrong, you who cherish my law in your hearts. Do not be afraid of people’s scorn, nor fear their insults.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I want you to learn to filter out the noise that surrounds you. Not only will you be bombarded by distractions from everyday life, but marketing voices will shout out their truths and attempt to make you feel empty and lost if you don’t use their products. TV and social media will vie for your time and attention, telling stories and displaying products that will tempt you to want more of what the world offers. Discipline yourself to limit the noise, but learn to identify the lies and deceit out there.

More than anything, lean into me. Learn to hear my still, small voice. Being in a quiet place with limited distractions helps, but I want you to become proficient in hearing me at all times and in all settings. Even with the volume turned up loud or on crowded, busy streets, I will be calling you. I will be reminding you that I am with you. I will be guiding you and encouraging you to follow me.

NEXT STEP
Listen and remember: God will not fail. He has provided in the past and will do so in the future. In what situation do you need to trust God? Ask for his help and listen for his response.
