KEY VERSEIsaiah 43:18-19 (God to Israel)
But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
The enemy will bring up your past. He will dust it off and make it shine so you cannot avoid it. The enemy will use it to beat you down and humble you, trying to prove you need him. But I have forgiven you. I have forgotten your past put it behind me. So, do not dwell on the past, but celebrate the fresh start—the do-over—I offer. Choose to humble yourself before me, and I will lift you. The enemy wants to destroy you, but I want to rebuild and strengthen you.

I am preparing something new for you, something you never thought possible. You may feel challenged, stretched, or overwhelmed by my offer, but don’t be. I will never leave, so call on me for help. Reach out to me, and I will lead you. Don’t be distracted by other offers. Apart from me, there is no other. I am the Lord God and the only one who can provide all you need. So allow me to provide for you and show you the great things I have in store.

NEXT STEP
If you have a difficult time with memories from your past, give your mind something new to focus on. Memorize verses 18 & 19. Each time a memory or habit from your past haunts you, review those verses and pray them as a prayer to God.
