KEY VERSEIsaiah 42:1 (God to Israel)
Look at my servant, whom I strengthen. He is my chosen one, who pleases me. I have put my Spirit upon him. He will bring justice to the nations.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Jesus is the servant in this chapter. He is my chosen one, my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Unlike idols who can do nothing to save you, Jesus does everything. Jesus does not cry out or shout to get your attention. He is humble and gentle and quickly found when you seek him. He is near you now. Call out to him and listen. Open your eyes and see.

If you are hurting or feel like you are on your last legs, turn to me. Do not think you are beyond hope or repair. Do not think I am disgusted by you or no longer care. Those are lies from the enemy. I have defeated the enemy, and he wants you to accompany him. But I will fight for you. I want you in my family. If you turn to me, you will find me, and I will welcome you home.

NEXT STEP
Confess your sins today and turn to God. If there is any doubt or memory or sin you struggle with and can’t shake, write it out on a piece of paper. Then ask for God’s forgiveness and write the word “FORGIVEN” across it with a thick marker. Then rip it to shreds and throw it away or flush down the toilet. Then, whenever the enemy brings to mind what you already confessed, remember tossing or flushing the shreds away and claim God’s forgiveness.
