BIG IDEAGod’s timeless advice is better than anyone’s temporary tips.

KEY VERSEIsaiah 41:29 (God to people)
See, they are all foolish, worthless things. All your idols are as empty as the wind.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
All the efforts made by humanity to prove that it does not need me are impressive. They show great diligence and effort. But their attempts are worthless. Don’t succumb to the temptation that the only way out of dire predicaments is by any means necessary. Truthfully, the only way out is through me. So when you are lost or feel lost, turn to me. Don’t accept the quick fixes of the world. They will ignite a spark of hope, but they will quickly fizzle and leave you lower than before.

Instead, remember that I have chosen you and have not rejected you. Your trial or challenge does not mean I have forgotten you. Do not fear, for I am with you. Take deep breaths to fill your lungs with faith, and then cry out to me for help. I will hear you, for I am your God. Wait for me to respond. Don’t panic. I will give you the strength you need and show you the way out.

NEXT STEP
Evaluate the advice of others. Compare it with God’s instruction. Don’t assume a “great idea” is the best way to go. Instead, seek God and review his word. Ask trusted friends for their help to find God’s opinion from the Bible.
