KEY VERSEIsaiah 26:12-13 ((The Kingdom of Judah praises God)
Lord, you will grant us peace; all we have accomplished is really from you. O Lord our God, others have ruled us, but you alone are the one we worship.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I love those moments of clarity you have when you recognize that I am the source of all your joy, your hope, and your peace. It is tempting to run after what the world offers and put your faith in those things, but I am the one you need. That is true today and always. I want your “moments” to become a mindset and for your heart and mind to identify what is true. Give me the glory I deserve.

I want to protect you from yourself. I want to save you from wasting your time pursuing dreams and climbing ladders that are leaning against the wrong wall. I want you to stop striving to accomplish what only I can provide. I offer peace—peace that permeates your bones and soothes and satisfies. Recognize I am all you need and seek me. When you turn to me and follow my leadership, you will rest like never before. You will find joy and share it and the hope it brings to others.

NEXT STEP
Are you trusting in someone or something for what only God can provide? You may think you want money, but perhaps you desire to buy things to attain acceptance from others. Take a minute and ask God to search your heart. Evaluate what you truly want and then recognize how many of those things only come from a more obedient walk with God. Follow God today.
