IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Don’t take shortcuts in life. I know they’re attractive and appear to simplify things, but it’s a lie. When you do things your way, your alternate method will fail, and you will be dissatisfied. You will wish you could turn back the clock. Choose my way, instead. It may seem slow, tedious, and even unwise. But it is correct. Let me keep your view of life pure. Let me protect you from yourself and making unhealthy decisions.

Don’t allow pride to undermine your faith or common sense. Don’t let it tempt you to live independently from me. I am not the enemy — I am your hope and your healer. I am the one you can trust and your refuge. Your sin-filled decisions will fail, and there will be a cost. So turn to me, and let me remind you of the blessing of a faith-filled life. Follow me and live. Follow me and find peace.

NEXT STEP
Confess any sin to God that you have been hiding. Restore any relationships that you’ve hurt in even the slightest manner.
