KEY VERSEIsaiah 12:5 (Israel to one another)
Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Verse 2 changes everything. If I am your salvation, you will have security. If you trust me, you will not fear, for you know I am with you. If I am your strength and you look to me for defense, you can step out in faith and not be overcome with doubt or anger when life or others disappoint you. Let me be your salvation—the one you turn to and the one you focus upon. Let me be the bullseye for your day.

Because when those things are true, you will be praising me unashamedly, letting others know that we are together. I love that praise. And I love the look of joy and hope on your face when you tell others about me. The enemy will want you to be intimidated and afraid, but focus on what is true. I love you—I have provided for you—and I want to do the same for others. So sing my praise and share our story.

NEXT STEP
Ask a trusted friend to randomly select a day to evaluate your words and body language. Do those things give evidence of a healthy relationship with God? If not, what needs to change? What is missing in your heart, mind, or soul? Do the words from verse 2 accurately describe you? If not, take time to surrender to God.
