Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
You have many tools and resources to slow or stop the spread of disease, spills, or even anger. But none can eliminate or clean up the mayhem of sin. Worldly solutions, philosophies, and teachings may cover sin or redirect its effects, but nothing eradicates it. Jesus, however, has done that. Don’t look anywhere for relief from sin except to Jesus. He provides complete forgiveness, and his sacrifice is so thorough, it lasts forever. No one else nor any other effort can do that.

Stop trying to live a perfect life to prove your value. I made you, and you became valuable at that moment. Do strive to grow and mature in your faith. Dare to follow me in ways you never thought possible. But do so because you love me and are not worried about failing. Your failure doesn’t change my love. It just teaches you lessons. Try again. Following me will be challenging, but it should also be fun. You are forgiven and free—stop worrying and start following—and thank Jesus for his perfect sacrifice.

NEXT STEP
Every time you think of your sin, stop, and thank Jesus for his forgiveness. If you know people who struggle with their past, share today’s key verse with them and remind them of Jesus’ forever forgiveness.
