IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I love talking about my kids. They are men and women of all ages who trust me when it’s easy and difficult. They have changed their lives because of their faithfulness. Many are aware of some of their impact, but none are aware of the scope of their influence. The same is true for you. When you trust me and take a step of faith, there are times you will see the impact. But your faithfulness does so much more behind the scenes—more than you know.

I love the description of the faithful in this chapter, but it does not tell the complete story. It describes their faithfulness, but it does not list their faithlessness. The section includes those who have murdered, lied, cheated, committed adultery, worshiped idols, and acted cowardly. Still, their harmful acts do not define them. Their faithfulness is what I remember, for I have forgiven their sins. I share this because I want you to know you can trust me, too. You can take the same steps of faith and impact generations. Follow me today.

NEXT STEP
Is there anything in your life that prevents you from trusting God? If so, plan on speaking with a friend, a pastor, or a professional counselor. Don’t be afraid to address and explore the issue. That may be the most significant step of faith you can take.
