…let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.
IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Continue to gain knowledge about what I’ve done for you. You no longer have to bring offerings to priests—day after day—to atone for your sin. Christ’s death changed everything. Not only was his one sacrifice sufficient for you and everyone to receive forgiveness, but his sacrifice erased your sins. Previous sacrifices only covered them, but Jesus’ one sacrifice made you 100% free and clean. You are a new person. Let that impact how you live and think.
I want you to have a public faith. Live it out within a community that cares. Not only will they help you, but you will help them. Worship together. Laugh together. Celebrate together. Mourn together. Pray together. Seek me together. Take steps of faith together. Don’t shrink back in fear. Don’t be intimated by life. Rise together and spur one another on towards love and good deeds. I am with you forever. Strengthen and encourage one another with these truths. Remind one another what is true and who I am.
