BIG IDEADon’t cut corners. Be faithful to your assignment, whether little or large.

KEY VERSEGenesis 24:42 (Abraham’s servant seeks God for help)
So today when I came to the spring, I prayed this prayer: “O Lord, God of my master, Abraham, please give me success on this mission.”

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Take time today–right now–to pray for my guidance. I want you to live with enthusiasm and purpose but don’t run before me. Wait. Seek me. Let me lead you. I will give you dreams or place ideas in your mind. Others will inspire or nudge you forward with words I want you to hear. But don’t take off running. Look to me. Seek my direction, and the next step I want you to take. The temptation is to hear what you want to hear. So be still. Be silent. Get confirmation from others.

You trust me for your eternity, so be sure to follow me today. My commitment to you doesn’t begin when you die. I am with you today and leading you now. Follow me so that you experience the life you’ve always wanted—one filled with mystery, adventure, and eternal value. Invite others to this faith-filled adventure and watch what I will do. But watch me and walk with me. Don’t run ahead of me.

NEXT STEP
Faithfully serve where you’ve been assigned. You may want another job or role, but build a resume of faith. Ask God today for the courage to follow him or for encouragement to persevere.
