OVERVIEWGovernment leaders want to know who gave the authorization to rebuild the temple. They send a letter to King Darius to see if the answers they received are correct.

BIG IDEAWhen we obey, God paves the way.

KEY VERSEEzra 5:2 (work is begun to rebuild the temple)
Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jehozadak responded by starting again to rebuild the Temple of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them and helped them.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I want to be the one voice you focus on. Look to me. Seek me, and you will find me and the path I have laid out for you. I am not like other gods who promise one thing but never deliver. I am not like your culture, which only accepts and approves those based on talent or appearance. I am your heavenly father, and I love you because I made you. Regardless of how you look, your wiring, or habits, you are my child, and I am with you forever.

Don’t follow and obey me to seek my acceptance. I already accept you; therefore, follow me and obey. I have your best interest in mind. You are wise to walk with me. Encourage others to do the same. Some will doubt themselves. Breathe life into them. Some will be tired. Hold them up and work beside them. You are not alone. You are part of a body that is strongest when it is united.

NEXT STEP
Don’t be surprised when people question your movies and actions. Continue to seek God and follow through on what he’s leading you to do. Take the next step of faith God is prompting you to take.
