KEY VERSEEzekiel 48:35 (God to Ezekiel)
The distance all around will be 18,000 cubits. And the name of the city from that time on will be: the Lord is there.

The world is mine. I created it, sustained, and will rebuild it. It and everything in it is mine and under my authority. Yet, I want to share it with you and others. I want you to have a role in caring for it. I want you to enjoy my presence my people on earth. Don’t neglect your surroundings or overlook those who have been forgotten. I haven’t forgotten them and I want you to remind them.

I also want you to look forward to being eternally in my presence and in the kingdom and city I establish. It will be your forever home. You may have had challenges in life, or been neglected by family, or ignored at work. You may have been overlooked, overshadowed, or overloaded, but you are never overrated in my eyes. I love you and created you and have plans to provide for you. You are my child and always will be.

Find a location in your area that you see regularly or an item you can carry with you or place in a prominent place that remind you of God’s power and presence. Let it remind you to stop and praise God for his work in the world and in your life every time you see it.
