OVERVIEW: The land is divided and gates are put on according to the names of the tribes of Israel. But the name of the city is “The Lord is there.”
BIG IDEA: You are never forgotten. Regardless of where you are, God is with you.
KEY VERSE: Ezekiel 48:35 (God to Ezekiel)
The distance all around will be 18,000 cubits. And the name of the city from that time on will be: the Lord is there.
IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
The world is mine. I created it, sustained, and will rebuild it. It and everything in it is mine and under my authority. Yet, I want to share it with you and others. I want you to have a role in caring for it. I want you to enjoy my presence my people on earth. Don’t neglect your surroundings or overlook those who have been forgotten. I haven’t forgotten them and I want you to remind them.
I also want you to look forward to being eternally in my presence and in the kingdom and city I establish. It will be your forever home. You may have had challenges in life, or been neglected by family, or ignored at work. You may have been overlooked, overshadowed, or overloaded, but you are never overrated in my eyes. I love you and created you and have plans to provide for you. You are my child and always will be.
