Ezekiel 43:1-27

SUMMARYTemple return

OVERVIEWGod’s glory returns to the temple and a place for sacrifices is established.

BIG IDEADisplay God’s glory through your attitude, words, and actions.

KEY VERSEEzekiel 43:4–5 (Ezekiel’s vision)
The glory of the Lord entered the temple through the gate facing east. Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
In the new age, my glory will be seen and experienced by everyone everywhere. There will be no escaping it, and there will be no reason to do so. It will be beautiful and all my children will sing praise to me and live in peace and forever enjoy the blessing of my love, grace, compassion, and mercy. That day is coming, but there’s no need to wait for it. My glory is still visible and can be experienced. Seek me and you will find me.

Present yourself today as an offering to me. Let your feet bring good news to those who need hope and encouragement. Let your hands serve and comfort those who feel alone and defeated. Let your tongue speak words of blessing and peace to those who have been mistreated. Link arms with other Jesus followers to be one body and display the power of unity.

NEXT STEP
Seek God’s glory today. Evaluate everything you do, say, and think through the grid of whether or not it glorifies God.
