Now whenever the cloud lifted from the Tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out on their journey, following it. But if the cloud did not rise, they remained where they were until it lifted.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Over and over in this chapter, you see Moses did everything just as I commanded. You’ll find that phrase repeated nearly twenty times in this and the previous chapter. That’s what I want for your life. That’s the message I want etched across your heart and mind. When people talk about you, I want them to say you did everything just as I commanded. And isn’t that what you want? Isn’t that what you committed to when you asked me to lead your life? I know life gets messy and complicated, but let me simplify it for you: follow me. Live your life just as I command.

I’ve said this before, but repetition is valuable: Don’t strive for perfection. Instead, focus on following me. When you do, you will fall, but reach out your hand, and I will pick you up. Join me in an adventure today. I have so much to show you.

NEXT STEP
Follow through on what God has placed on your heart. If nothing comes to mind, take time to pray and sit quietly. Ask God for guidance and listen. Tell God you will continue to listen as you go through your day.
