KEY VERSEExodus 34:11–12 (God to Moses)
But listen carefully to everything I command you today. Then I will go ahead of you and drive out the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. Be very careful never to make a treaty with the people who live in the land where you are going. If you do, you will follow their evil ways and be trapped.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Trust me when I say “trust me.” I know the temptations and distractions that await you. I know the voices competing for your loyalty. Many will offer themselves, making promises they can’t keep or sustain. Don’t be deceived. Learn to hear my voice, to distinguish it from others. I will provide for you and fulfill all my promises. But to enjoy and experience them, you must follow me.

Besides being a promise keeper, let me remind you why I want you to follow me. I am compassionate and gracious. I am slow to anger, and you will never find more love and faithfulness anywhere. Walk humbly with me but don’t concern yourself with living a perfect life. I want faithfulness, not perfection. I will forgive you when you stray but stay close, so you are safe. Stay close to see and experience the extraordinary works I want to do in you, through you, and around you. I love you.
