KEY VERSEExodus 25:2 (God to Moses)
Tell the Israelites to bring me an offering. You are to receive the offering for me from everyone whose heart prompts them to give.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I love your offerings. They show me you love me and trust me. They are signs of your love for and commitment to me. They tell me you recognize that I am your provider, the source of all you have received. You realize the breath you breathe, the school you attend, or the job you’ve acquired are gifts from me. I want to continue to supply all your needs. Keep giving back. Give to me with joy and generosity. Respond to my faithfulness with enthusiasm and a glad heart.

I am your healer and forgiver. Don’t run from me when you sin. Run to me, instead. Come to me with a humble yet hopeful heart. Be humble, for I am your God, but be hopeful, for I am your father. I love you and want to be in a relationship with you. Find your strength and nourishment in me. Look nowhere else but to me as your provider.

NEXT STEP
Let symbols remind you who God is and why we should worship him. Find a symbol to remind you of God’s love and faithfulness. It can be anything: a Bible verse handwritten and stuck to a mirror, a mezuzah on your doorpost, or a candle on a table.
