IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Always begin with the end in mind. Don’t start your day without praying for wisdom and the courage to follow my lead. Have a plan but be open to the new direction where I may lead. Don’t start a project without counting the costs; otherwise, you may not have the time or resources to finish, or your design will shift to what others want it to be.
In the same way, don’t live your life without thought of your legacy. Your weekend away where nobody knows you is a lie. Your actions will be discovered, or your conscience will be pushed to overload, but there will be consequences either way. Do not strive for a perfect life. That is a foolish goal and one that can make you arrogant or overly critical. Instead, pursue faithfulness and acknowledge your sin and shortcomings to others. Don’t try to be someone you’re not, but don’t live as if your choices do not matter. Follow me today and discover the blessing of obedience.
