SUMMARY: Think first
OVERVIEW: Don’t make commitments you can not keep. And when you do commit, be quick to fulfill it.

When you make a promise to God, don’t delay in following through, for God takes no pleasure in fools. Keep all the promises you make to him.
IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I am a promise keeper, and you can rest in that. You can live in peace and with confidence because I will always do what I promised. When you are under stress, you can call on me, and I will provide. When you are full of doubt, you can look to me, and I will help you. When you make unwise choices, you can ask for forgiveness, and I will heal you. When you are ready to take a step of faith, you can step with confidence, for I will be with you.
Follow my example. Be a trustworthy person and always follows through on what you have promised. Give your family and friends the same kind of comfort I offer you. Let them never have to worry or wonder if you will do what you said you would do. Give others a glimpse of my character and be a promise keeper.
