Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.

I am powerful and awesome. You do not need to look to your right or your left. You do not need to wonder if you’ll ever come upon someone or something more extraordinary. I am the beginning and the end. I am what your soul craves. I am the fulfillment you seek, the joy you pursue, and the peace you covet. Stop searching for the answer when I am what you’re looking for. Follow me.

I’m not looking for temporary devotion, however. I am investing in your life so take care to follow my instructions. My commands are what you need. Some day it will become clear but don’t wait to believe that when you’re older. Trust me wholeheartedly today. Let’s find out what a life of faithfulness will look like in the future. You don’t have to obey me so that I love you. I already do—that’s why I’m instructing you. I want you to experience real life. Do not worry about failing or those who compete with you. I will provide. Follow me today—right now!
