KEY VERSEDeuteronomy 5:29 (God to Moses)
Oh, that they would always have hearts like this, that they might fear me and obey all my commands! If they did, they and their descendants would prosper forever.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I am good, but I am also just. I want to and will bless every area of your life if you allow me. Follow me and let me do that. Submit to my ways and enjoy the blessing. As your father, I love to give to you. I enjoy watching you smile and expressing thanks and gratitude. I want to do so much. I want you to have good health, and warm relationships, and a full cupboard. I want you to have success at work or school and favor wherever you go. Following and obeying me does not guarantee these things. But it does give me a reason to bless you.

However, you have a choice. If you choose to go your own way or follow another, you will be on your own and reap the consequences that come. I will always be available if you want to turn back, but there will be judgment and sadness if you choose not to. The choice seems obvious, but it is your choice.

NEXT STEP
Choose God’s way. In what area of your life have you found success through obedience? And in what place in your life is it time to surrender to God’s way? Thank God for how he has blessed you by following his ways and commit to God any areas you need to change.
