OVERVIEWIsrael given specific instructions regarding purity.

BIG IDEA: Moses gives Israel specific instructions regarding purity. God is present in Israel’s camp, and they are to live with such awareness.

KEY VERSEDeuteronomy 23:14 (Moses to Israel)
The camp must be holy, for the Lord your God moves around in your camp to protect you and to defeat your enemies. He must not see any shameful thing among you, or he will turn away from you.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
In Christ, I have made you whole, so you are always welcome to come to me. You are my child, and nothing changes that, but I do know temptations surround you and invite you to go another way. Other voices will lure you to them but learn to hear my voice. I will always lead you on a path that brings hope and life. Seek me, and you will find purity, but you will enjoy so much more, as well.

You’ve seen the consequences of impure living. You’ve experienced some, too. You know what that is like but don’t feel overwhelmed with the burden to live a perfect life—you won’t. I’m not asking you to be flawless. I’m inviting you to follow me. I want you to be attracted to a Jesus life—one that strengthens your faith and brings healing and hope to your relationships. I am with you and for you. I want to protect and provide for you, so follow me and enjoy the fruit of holiness.
