SUMMARYBeasts battle

BIG IDEAGod is always in control.

KEY VERSEDaniel 7:27 (interpretation of Daniel’s dream)
Then the sovereignty, power, and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be given to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will last forever, and all rulers will serve and obey him.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Do not be overwhelmed when you hear of wars or catastrophes near or far. I remain in control, and nothing happens outside of my knowledge or will. I do not create sin, but I can use it to bring me glory. Some respond by repenting of their sin, and some cry out, asking for help. Still, others will see their hearts harden more than ever before, but as long as there is breath in their lungs, I invite them to turn to me.

In the end, I remain in control, and my power and greatness surpass any evil in the world. So be aware of local and worldwide events. Learn to connect them with what I am doing and how I can help. Use them as a vehicle for a conversation about me. But do not dwell on them or be swallowed by their bite. Instead, look to me. Cry out to me. Sing to me. Trust me. And then teach others to do the same.

NEXT STEP
Is there an event or world leader that concerns you? Don’t get overwhelmed by worldwide or local events. Stay encouraged, regardless of what’s going on in the world, and take comfort because God is in control. Be aware but present all your concerns to God.
