KEY VERSEDaniel 5:23 (Daniel to Belshazzar)
For you have proudly defied the Lord of heaven and have had these cups from his Temple brought before you. You and your nobles and your wives and concubines have been drinking wine from them while praising gods of silver, gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone—gods that neither see nor hear nor know anything at all. But you have not honored the God who gives you the breath of life and controls your destiny!

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I give you freedom of choice and invite you to follow me. But I don’t do so without showing you my love and power and communicating I care through my word, creation, provision, and people. I am with you and for you. I love you and have plans for your life that will both excite you and intimidate you. But there is no need to fear. Just be ready for an adventure. Follow me and find out what I have in store for you.

Do not trust yourself or those who claim to be experts more than you trust me. You will hear truth and wisdom, for I have placed it in the world, but it can be easily distorted or misused. And do not think more highly of yourself than you ought. Instead, turn to me. Trust me. Seek me and allow me to lead you. You may not choose to follow me, but I invite you to be in a relationship with me. Take time today to listen to what I want to share with you.

NEXT STEP
What message is God sending you? Set aside 2-5 minutes 2-3 times today to be still before God. God may or may not have something to share today, but listen and obey.
