BIG IDEABe prayerful, wise, and strategic in how you face adversity.

KEY VERSEActs 25:8 (Paul to Governor Festus)
Paul denied the charges. “I am not guilty of any crime against the Jewish laws or the Temple or the Roman government,” he said.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
You are my child, and I will never leave you, but you will face numerous challenges and confront many enemies. Sometimes life will be devastating, and sometimes circumstances will be terrible. Don’t lose hope, for I will still be with you. Walk faithfully with me. I can bring peace, joy, and purpose, even during the chaos. I will always be by your side, even when you don’t feel any of those things. Nothing will change. I will never leave you or forsake you.

Don’t be fooled by those who tell you great faith makes problems disappear. Many of them haven’t considered what my faithful followers in the Bible experienced. How you handle hardship makes the measure of your faith evident. Let yourself feel your pain, frustration, disappointment, exhaustion, confusion. But keep following. Keep trusting. Keep believing. Keep experiencing me. Look for me in the middle of your turbulent times. I will be with you.

NEXT STEP
Do you know someone who is facing difficult or devastating circumstances right now? Remind them that you care today. Don’t focus on solving their problem, but do put a lot of effort into showing you care.
