SUMMARY: Teamwork
OVERVIEW: Deborah and Barak teamed up to fight the enemy. Deborah provided the vision, and Barak offered the muscle.
BIG IDEA: Teammates make us stronger.
KEY VERSE: Judges 4:8 (Barak to Deborah)
Barak told her, “I will go, but only if you go with me.”
IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
It is good to be part of a team. I’ve created you to be one part of a body, so don’t try to live on your own. You need others in your life, and they need you. When you function as one team, you will be robust and built to bless others. You will provide hope and encouragement for many, and you will have friends to do the same for you.
I believe in the value and potential of a team. It is to your advantage to have teammates—brothers and sisters who will stand with you. But trust me more than you trust your team. I want you—as one unit—to look to me and trust me. I want you—together—to seek me and hide behind me. I am your provider and always will be. You need teammates to remind you of that, and they need you to do the same.
