KEY VERSEPsalm 17:1 (David’s prayer)
O Lord, hear my plea for justice. Listen to my cry for help. Pay attention to my prayer, for it comes from honest lips.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I do hear you. I hear you when you cry out to me and I even know when you choose to worry instead. Don’t hang onto your troubles. If something concerns you, invite me to get involved. Share from your heart and don’t hold back. I want you to know I am with you and I love hearing your prayers. Don’t overthink it. I’m not expecting a particular style of prayer and I’m not grading you on your word choice. I want you to share your heart. I love to hear from you.

I know there are some in your life who challenge you or don’t like you. Stand up for yourself because you are valuable. But don’t retaliate if they hurt you. Let me bring any necessary discipline. Continue to look to me and trust me. Allow me to lead you and provide for you. The wicked may prosper for a little while, but the righteous will live with me for eternity.

NEXT STEP
Be honest with God. What do you need to confess that you have been hiding or ignoring?  Talk to God and share with a trusted friend for encouragement and accountability.
