IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I recognize the faith required of you to put others first. Your cultural norm expects you to put yourself first. Many claim you are entitled to think and live that way, but I want you to think differently. I want you to trust me and break the norm. Create a new normal, one of faith, obedience, and selflessness. I am the Lord. I am the one to trust and the one to whom you should look for direction, fulfillment, and purpose. If you want to know how to spend your time, use your money, and conduct yourself at work and in relationships, look to me and follow my lead.
Practice putting others first today. You will have plenty of opportunities to be first in line, have the loudest voice in the room, or eat the last of the food. I want you to pause. I want you to defer to others and put their needs first.
