KEY VERSE2 Thessalonians 3:6 (Paul’s reminder)
And now, dear brothers and sisters, we give you this command in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ: Stay away from all believers who live idle lives and don’t follow the tradition they received from us.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Until Jesus returns, wicked and evil people will surround you. You will encounter many who do not like you and those who look down one you because you follow me. Do not be intimidated or frustrated or surprised by them. Instead, turn to me and pray for them. I am faithful. I will strengthen you, I will protect you, and I will continue to draw those who practice evil to me. You and all other believers were once far from me, but your life was changed, so there’s hope for them, too.

Work hard and pursue excellence in all you do. Be an example for others to follow. Live in such a way that you motivate others to develop similar habits or to dream dreams that require my help. Don’t coast through your day and expect others to serve you. Be the chief servant. Not only will it keep your heart soft, but you’ll find more fulfillment in each day.

NEXT STEP
Today, whether in school or at work or on your day off, set a good example for others. Don’t do it to be noticed. Instead, do it because it’s a healthy way to live and a terrific way to honor God.
