KEY VERSE2 Thessalonians 1:4 (Paul praises the church)
We proudly tell God’s other churches about your endurance and faithfulness in all the persecutions and hardships you are suffering.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
There are two things I want you to remember. First, look around. You are surrounded by people who love you and invest in you. Acknowledge them. Thank them. Pray for them. And take advantage of opportunities to pray for and care for those who look up to you. Pray that their faith would grow, and their love for one another would increase. Pray for them to persevere in their faith and that they would not be discouraged or defeated by trials.

Secondly, stop striving to please me or to seek my love or affirmation. You are my child, and I love you. Always. Strive towards faithfulness and obedience, but not to earn my love. Instead, experience the joy and fulfillment of faith-filled living. Laugh at fear, knowing it has no place in your life because I am with you, and I use all things for good for those who love me. Focus on me. Follow me. And enjoy your next step of faith.

NEXT STEP
Commit to invest in and pray for a person or group of people regularly. What is something you can invite them to? How can you build a relationship? Perhaps an invite to a church service or your home for dinner or out to a movie?
