KEY VERSE2 Kings 2:13–14 (After Elijah was taken up into heaven)

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I have much I want to do in and through you—far more than you can imagine. I will give you opportunities today and in the future. Focus today on being FAT: faithful, available, and teachable. Be faithful to all I’ve called you to do through my word and the Holy Spirit. Be available to serve and spend time with me. Don’t over commit. Know when to say ‘no,’ but be ready. And be teachable—always. You do not know it all. And the more you learn, the more you’ll discover how that’s true.

So while you prepare for the future, stay ready for what I want to do today. Keep your eyes focused on me. Limit your distractions so you can be alert to my activity in your life and those around you. Take time to rest and pursue good health. But continue to look for and listen for me. I am always at work and want you to continue to learn to see and hear me.
