KEY VERSE2 Kings 11:2 (Jehosheba’s courageous action)
But Ahaziah’s sister Jehosheba, the daughter of King Jehoram, took Ahaziah’s infant son, Joash, and stole him away from among the rest of the king’s children, who were about to be killed. She put Joash and his nurse in a bedroom, and they hid him from Athaliah, so the child was not murdered.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I have given you my Spirit. Live with authority, courage, and power. No longer do you have to cower in fear and hope things get better. Stand tall and live for me. Support those who stand alone. Represent those who cannot speak. Encourage those filled with fear that I, the Lord God, am with them today and always.

There will be times when I call you to take action and lead from the front. Be bold and lead when required, but there will be other times when I’ll want you to be content to support other godly leaders and follow faithfully.

Sometimes the godly suffer and are mocked for what they believe. Numerous times, Bible heroes had to wait for me to respond to their cries. I heard each request, and I don’t miss any of yours. I am not calloused nor indifferent. I am at work, and you can trust I will always provide what you need when you need it. Be fearless, but sometimes your most courageous act will require patience.

NEXT STEP
Thank God for whatever situation you are currently experiencing. Pray that you will trust that God is always at work and that he will lead you through the challenging times and empower you to act when required.
