Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.
IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
You cannot out-give me. But I love it when you try. Generosity is contagious. As people see you give, and as you share your joy in giving, it will inspire others. But don’t give if you feel pressured. Give because you are overflowing with love for me, my kingdom work, and those around you. I am a loving father who meets the needs of my children. And I invite you to be part of the solution.
Give with purpose and passion. If you are holding back because you fear you won’t have enough, I invite you to jump in and trust me. Make me your financial advisor, and I will bless you and teach you to live with joy. Trust me, for I will provide everything you need—that’s the financial security you seek. Trust me, for I will provide it exactly when you need it—that’s the dependability you crave. I can and will do these things because I know you, I love you, and I am faithful.
NEXT STEP
Before you give, take time to thank God for how he has provided, whether through employment or faithful gifts from family and friends. Worship God for his goodness and his provision.
