KEY VERSE2 Chronicles 7:14 (God to Solomon)
Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I enjoy your praise and worship. When you sacrifice to honor and exalt me, it brings me great pleasure. Remember, however, that I know when you go through the motions and when you humble yourself. Don’t just focus on yourself when you call on me. Cry out for those who are far from me, that they too would turn to me. Plead on their behalf that they would turn from their wicked ways and walk with me.

I am holy and all-powerful, but I make things simple. Be faithful and walk in a way that not only acknowledges my ways but honors them. When you do, you will be like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. You will prosper in many ways! But if you ignore me and choose your path, you will find destruction. I won’t bring you pain, but it will present itself. Save yourself and those around you by choosing to walk with me.

NEXT STEP
Ask God to search your heart. Take time to pause and be still for several minutes. Continue to reflect and listen throughout the day. If God confirms you are living for him, ask for continued strength. If God reveals sinful thoughts, attitudes, or actions, ask for forgiveness.
