BIG IDEADo the right thing today.

KEY VERSE2 Chronicles 23:16–17 (Jehoiada the priest provides spiritual leadership)
Then Jehoiada made a covenant between himself and the king and the people that they would be the Lord’s people. And all the people went over to the temple of Baal and tore it down. They demolished the altars and smashed the idols, and they killed Mattan the priest of Baal in front of the altars.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Be strong and courageous today. Don’t ignore the way I lead you. Do everything I put on your heart, and do so with confidence because I am with you. Evil will have its day on earth, but it will not last forever. Even before Jesus returns, you will see victory after victory. My Spirit is alive and robust in you and other believers, so stand as one. Look fear in the face and step towards it.

My light shines in the darkness, and nothing can put it out. In Christ, no one can defeat you. You will receive wounds from time to time, but don’t let that worry you. Pain on earth is temporary. Your future includes healing and wholeness. So don’t sit back and watch evil people prosper. Get up! But only go as far as I lead. And when I do, follow me and live boldly. Love and serve with gladness in my power and authority.

NEXT STEP
Is God prompting you to take action in some way? To support someone in need or stand up for someone — even yourself? Take a step of faith and do the right thing today. Don’t be governed by your past. Get a fresh start.
