IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
It’s easy to rule over others. All you need is to intimidate and threaten others, and many will follow you. But they will never respect you, nor will you lead them. People may support you out of fear, but you will not invest in their lives or equip them to make an impact. Live differently. Listen to me, obey my word, and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. I will redirect you when you get off the path of life; I will bring you back when you’re out-of-line.

Lead out of love for me and those I put in your path. You may not be the top leader, but everyone will have a chance to lead and shepherd others. Faithfully follow through on the opportunities I provide, and more will follow. I want people to remember you as a person of integrity and character, a person who sought me and obeyed me, and one who led with joy and a servant’s heart. All of that is possible beginning now.

NEXT STEP
Has the Holy Spirit or someone who knows you addressed an area of concern in your life? Be teachable and respond appropriately. Is there someone you care about who needs correction? Do so lovingly and respectfully.
