BIG IDEAGive God your best.

KEY VERSE2 Chronicles 2:5–6 (Solomon to the king of Tyre)
This must be a magnificent Temple because our God is greater than all other gods. But who can really build him a worthy home? Not even the highest heavens can contain him! So who am I to consider building a Temple for him, except as a place to burn sacrifices to him?

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I am with you today and every day. When you work hard, I see you. When you cut corners, I see you then, too. Don’t let my presence frustrate or intimidate you. Be empowered and encouraged! There’s no need to be deceptive or to do things half-heartedly. Call on me! Are you tempted to cheat to accumulate more money? Let me know what you need. If you are bored or tired, ask me for vision or strength.

In everything you do, worship me. The more you look to me, the easier your tasks will become and the more enjoyable. Let me breathe life into you and your projects. Let me put a song on your heart that motivates and inspires you. I am not a god who hovers, waiting for you to fail so I can discipline you. I am the Almighty God, creator of heaven and earth. I love you and want to help. Seek me and find life. Worship me and find purpose.

NEXT STEP
“Give God your best” can be cliché, but it doesn’t have to be. Pick a task today and work on it as if God stood before you. Work with diligence, love, and joy.
