KEY VERSE2 Chronicles 14:3–4 (King Asa’s leadership)
He removed the foreign altars and the pagan shrines. He smashed the sacred pillars and cut down the Asherah poles. He commanded the people of Judah to seek the Lord, the God of their ancestors, and to obey his law and his commands.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
There is power in obedience. When you follow me and my ways, I will give you strength. You will also find peace, joy, and confidence. There are many paths on which you can travel. Some are beautifully paved and adorned with all that your flesh desires. They are trendy and easy to access. They lead nowhere. You’ll walk into a dead end, or you won’t get anywhere because those paths take you in circles.

My path is narrow and challenging, and the enemy will tell you it’s frightening. Your first step may be scary—future ones might be, too. But each step will be on solid ground. Follow me, and you will overcome your obstacles, and you will always find what you need when you need it. Remember, I will walk with you and lead you. If you obey me, it will be adventurous, but I will never leave you. Come, follow me on my path today. Get ready for a day to remember.

NEXT STEP
What is one way you can put your faith in action today? Ask God for the courage to follow through, ask a friend for support, and go for it.
