KEY VERSE1 Timothy 6:6 (Paul to Timothy)
Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Be rich in thankfulness. When you have a thankful heart, you become content and can focus on loving me and serving others instead of always striving to get more from the world. Be rich in my eyes, pursue godliness so that your character is changing and forming into the image of Christ. Financial gain can be a blessing, but don’t make it your goal. Be rich in love. Be known for love. Some have loved money more than me and have wandered from the faith.

Be rich in good deeds. Be rich in your generosity. If you have financial affluence, a generous heart will protect you from making money your top priority. Money comes and goes, so don’t chase it as if it were a god. I am God, and I am not going anywhere. You can always count on me. Put your faith in me and find freedom today and forever. Put your hope in me and live with peace and joy.

NEXT STEP
Be content and thankful for what you have. Instead of thinking about all the things you do not have or wished you had, recognize God’s goodness in providing what you need. Work towards what you would like, but thank God for what you have.
