BIG IDEARemember the great things God has done and serve him faithfully.

KEY VERSE1 Samuel 12:7 (Samuel to Israel)
Now stand here quietly before the Lord as I remind you of all the great things the Lord has done for you and your ancestors.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I have proven myself faithful, time, and time again. You can count on me to bless you in your obedience. And because I expect faithfulness, you can count on me to discipline you in your disobedience. I am reliable. I have provided in the past, I am providing for you now, and I will provide in the future. I want to say the same about you. I do not expect perfection, but I want your heart. Continue to seek me, and I will continue to transform you into the person you want to be.

Pray for one another. Encourage one another. And together, follow me. Do not live an isolated life. But look around and evaluate who you’re with. Are you bringing them up, or are they bringing you down? If those around you do not want anything to do with me, find a group that will support you. Continue to love and serve your friends, but lock arms with new friends who will hold you up and help you follow me.

NEXT STEP
How is your relationship with God these days? Make a list of 10 ways God has recently provided for you (big or small) and list anything you feel may hinder your relationship with God. Pray with thanks for the ways God has provided, and ask for help in strengthening your relationship with God.
