KEY VERSE1 Kings 9:3 (God to Solomon)
The Lord said to him, “I have heard your prayer and your petition. I have set this Temple apart to be holy—this place you have built where my name will be honored forever. I will always watch over it, for it is dear to my heart.”

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I am a God of blessing and will provide for you in all situations. I want to bless you. It gives me great pleasure, and I will do so for as long as you want. It seems like a silly question, but do you want my blessing? Do you want to experience my love, joy, and peace? Then follow me and walk with me through all circumstances. You don’t have to hope I will bless you—I will! Obey me and enjoy all I have for you.

If you choose to walk away, if you decide to disregard me and ignore my instructions, there will be consequences. You reap what you sow. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Do not buy the lies of the world. The enemy’s offer is always bright and covered with sparkles, but it’s a mirage. I love you, and I am here for you. That is the real distinction between who I am and what the world offers. There are blessings when you obey. Walk with me and live faithfully today.

NEXT STEP
Evaluate your love and commitment to God. How is it today? Has it been better? What made the difference? Similarly, has it been worse? What has changed to increase your love and faithfulness? God does not expect you to live like a robot, but is there anything you can learn from this reflection exercise? Any changes you should make or want to make?
