KEY VERSE1 Kings 7:51 (temple furnishings)
So King Solomon finished all his work on the Temple of the Lord. Then he brought all the gifts his father, David, had dedicated—the silver, the gold, and the various articles—and he stored them in the treasuries of the Lord’s Temple.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Everything can be holy. Everything can be set apart and used for my glory. When you have the chance to serve me—in whatever capacity—do your best. Don’t diminish any task. Don’t do something mindlessly because you’ve done it before. Don’t do something with half the effort because you’d prefer to do something else. Do it all with your full attention as if I were standing there watching you…because I am. And I’m not there to wait for you to make a mistake. I’m there to encourage you and bless you for serving me.

Each person you see serving me is essential. Encourage each of them. Each task you do for me matters—big or small. Don’t measure the importance of a job. Do each one with love and purpose. Always bring your best. When you serve me, you are investing in eternity. I cannot emphasize this more: your faithful actions can impact people for generations. You can’t see it now, but I do.

NEXT STEP
Don’t minimize any work that you or someone else does for God. It is all valuable and should all be appreciated. Give thanks for any opportunity you have to serve God and share your thanks with others who serve.
