KEY VERSE1 Kings 13:18 (prophet deceived)

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Seek me. Listen to my voice and learn to be still, even amid a busy street or crowded store. Open your eyes and see my activity. My word will confirm my instructions. I will never contradict myself, and I won’t change my mind. Others may offer seeds of doubt, but you can test their words by comparing what they say to what’s in the Bible. Seek counsel from other godly leaders, too. The important thing is for you to seek me, hear from me, and follow me.

Follow me with complete devotion. Others will tempt you to pick and choose what you obey, but if you want to experience life the way I intended—if you’re going to find fulfillment in life—walk with me. Obedience has never been popular, but it is one of the most effective ways to show your love and commitment to me. Listen and obey. Don’t be distracted.

NEXT STEP
Practice listening for God’s voice. It may not be audible. It may be a Bible verse that resonates or an intuition you feel. If it’s from God, whatever it is will always line up with explicit instruction from the Bible. And following through is just as important as hearing from God. Listen and obey today.
