KEY VERSE1 Corinthians 15:58 (Paul to the Corinthians)
So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Many live by the code “eat and drink today for tomorrow we may die.” They live for the moment, focusing on themselves and getting every ounce of enjoyment out of their day. I want you, also, to get the most out of each day and to enjoy the adventure of living for me. But don’t do it selfishly or without purpose. There is a reason to live for me today. There is a reason to serve others and to offer them hope. Jesus is that reason.

Faith in Jesus is not futile. Faith in Jesus is life’s best investment and its only sure thing. Death was defeated when Jesus raised from the dead. His resurrection proved to all who he was and that his every word was true. And those same words are true today. If you want life, turn to Jesus. If you want victory over your sin, turn to Jesus. If you want to live, turn to Jesus. So eat and drink today with eyes open wide for all God will do, for Jesus is alive.

NEXT STEP
Re-read verse 58 and reflect on it. Is there any reason for which you need to stand firm? Is there any way in which you are holding back from serving God? Do you need to be reminded that your work is not in vain?
