BIG IDEAPray big. Pray boldly.

KEY VERSE1 Chronicles 4:10 (Prayer of Jabez)
He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and expand my territory! Please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all trouble and pain!” And God granted him his request.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I want to bless you more than you can imagine. I already do with regularity. You are aware of some, but numerous other ways are easy to take for granted, like being alive, relationships, daily food, and water. But I also protect and provide for you in ways you are not even aware. I am always at work in your life. I shield you entirely from some pain and lessen the sting from other sorrow or grief.

But I want you to be proactive in making an impact in my kingdom. I want you to invest in eternity—striving to change the world in ways in which people see results forever. I can do this through you. Don’t shake your head in disbelief. Instead, think big. How would you like to make a difference in the world that can affect immediate change and have long-lasting results? Pray about that, and then take steps of faith towards that goal.

NEXT STEP
Do you have a bold prayer request for the year? Not just something you pray for when you think about it, but something big that would take the hand of God to accomplish. If not, take time today to reflect on how you want God to move in your life or your family. Ask God to reveal a big way you can trust him.
