Then David continued, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. He will see to it that all the work related to the Temple of the Lord is finished correctly.

You may be waiting to hear from me, or you may be waiting for me to fulfill what I promised. Continue to seek me and follow me. I will provide for you at just the right moment. I have not forgotten. I want you to make the most significant impact possible, so be ready to respond. Until that moment, follow me with energy and expectation. If you seek me, you will find me. Focus on me—don’t be distracted.

I want you to know me intimately. You can never know me fully, so there will always be something you can learn. Worship and serve me with your whole heart and a willing mind. Don’t bother pretending or going through the motions. I know your heart and your mind. Instead, push aside any fear or concern. Be strong and courageous, and do the work I have for you. I will be with you always. I will not fail you or forsake you.
