KEY VERSEPsalm 132:9 (living for God)
May your priests be clothed in godliness; may your loyal servants sing for joy.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
You are my child. The world runs one way and at one speed, but you must run in another direction. I also want you to learn to vary your pace. Go fast when I lead you in a specific direction. Otherwise, learn to slowly walk and pray that you might see and hear more of all I am doing around you. And practice stopping. Be still. Learn to wait on me and watch for where I will lead.

The world runs for a temporary prize, but mine is eternal. It may appear you are missing out as others enjoy temporary satisfaction, but trust me and my way. Follow me and live. I may delay your reward, but it is coming, and it will bring overwhelming joy and satisfaction. Be a voice of hope to those walking with you and those racing in various directions. Those running at a frantic pace may not be paying attention, but keep sharing and praying for them to respond to me.

NEXT STEP
Look for ways to honor God in what you say and do today. Tell the truth, put others first, say ‘no’ to temptation, encourage someone, don’t discourage others, or plan times in your day to stop and listen to God.
